SNOW DAY!

wow. I haven't had a snow day for the longest time. All University buildings closed, all exams canceled. Even though I don't have any classes and I only have to pick up a lab book, I feel so giddy inside.

I feel like a little kid (not that I'm not still a kid haha) wanting to go outside and jump into the waist high snow. The only thing is that I'm not a little kid anymore, so I have no snow pants, I have no friends who would jump in the snow with me, and I have no motivation to walk out my door dressed for the winter when I have 4 finals that are going to rape me coming up. haha GG.

But since it is a snow day, I will ~~procrastinate~~ relax and eat a warm bowl of noodles whilst watching Love Contract (Ariel Lin and Mike He ) haha. Not like I haven't been doing that all day yesterday, right? <cough> haha. So for now, I'll just sit and watch my wonderfully sweet and sappy Taiwanese show

Happy birthday to see-fut and andrewchow!!

Hope you guys had an awesome time yesterday :) cuz i know i did :D kaka. YAY! not only was last night a birthday celebration, it was a Get-Amy-out-of-the-house-because-she-hasn't-been-out-since-summer SUCCESS!!! :) w00t! haha. took ten million pictures. but will post them up later.

Countdown: 22 days

I can't tell if the fact that there's only 22 days left is good or bad.

22 days left to study for 4 finals, basically craming at this stage.

BUT 22 days left until Christams holidays! 22 days left until 3 week break from school!

Ah, I can't wait. but I'd rather the days not pass by any faster. haha. So while I cram, J pop that I don't understand will accompany me everywhere I go :)

My birthday

So on my birthday, I wake up to voices outside my door. "Is it too high? Does it look okay? *chair screeching*" haha. Thank you Rachel for the super cool banner outside my door. haha. I really was surprised when I was listening in my room. :P

For dinnerI went out for sushi buffet with the trio, which was nice, because we haven't been together for awhile. and when I came back.. SUPPLIES! hehe. Thank you guys :)

Then on Thursday night, I went out for my...3rd... birthday dinner with Rob at Symposium for my first legal alcoholic drink (Lychee Spritzer.. yumzors!... girly, but WAY better than that gross orange chocolate martini) :) Followed by a walk to Sugar Mountain (where I got a SUPER cool HEFFALUMP pez dispenser!!), THEN to Demetres for dessert. wakaka so fat. haha.

On Friday, we grabbed some yummy shawarmas on the way to ACF coffeehouse, then went out for 1/2 price apps at McGinnis Landing with Mike, Tiff, D, Jane, Britney and Bertha. The food was pretty good, but the service was horrible. Supposedly, we HAD to sit in the lounge 3 feet away from us if we wanted half price apps. So retarded, but we complained and we ended up getting half price. haha.

Saturday was SHOPPING day. It started off with ANOTHER shawarma :P. Then off to Toys r us and White Oaks for a coat search which turned out to be successful, for once. haha. We had the most romantic dinner: 2 packs of KD and Vitasoy while watching Friends and South Park haha.

At 11, we went for our 2nd movie date: Casino Royale. mmmm It was good, though I still think Daniel Craig isn't pretty enough to be James bond, but he was still good anyway. We bumped into Steph, Andrewchow, Kim, and Chris there. There were sooo many ppl there. We went 45 min early, and we stillhad to sit in the 4th row -_-" bah. It wasn't TOO bad. haha. Better than the time I sat in the first row to watch Matrix. haha.

Though there was no crazy party, I had such an awesome weekend :)

Thank you so much for coming down to see me :) AND for getting me the most awesome present ever :P kaka.

So I didn't get to go to Waterloo and join the party there, but being at home was fun too :) I had a pretty enjoyable weekend out with special people and good company.

Right when I got back to Toronto, I ate dinner, dropped my mom off at church, and then went straight to Future Shop with my dad and Rob to go find me a laptop :) YAY!!! haha. and so after some bargaining and "please daddy"'s (haha) I finally got the laptop I wanted. An Averatec 2200 series 12.1" Ultra Portable Wide Screen Notebook with Averabrite. (That's what it says on it haha). I haven't decided on what to name it yet but I will name it soon. Don't worry about it :)

Our very first movie date in 3 months. haha. Quite the sad, but I guess there never really were any good movies that we felt inclined to watch in theatres as opposed to the comfort of our own rooms pirated off DC++. So our very first movie in theatres is Flushed Away. Even though it's a cartoon, it's so good. There are so many jokes in it and many moments where you have to LOL. Slugs are the most awesome things ever, especially singing ones. hahaha. It's definitely a movie I'd recommend everyone to watch.

After the movie, we went for some tong sui at Health, Herb, Harmony at Times Square. It wasn't that great, but food doesn't really matter too much as long as you're wiht good company :)

SHOPPING. with mommy. haha I miss it so much. I bought quite a bit. Well, not that much, a sweatshirt, 2 pairs of sweatpants, 2 long sleeveshirts, 2 headbands, a halter top, and shampoo and face wash stuff. hahaha. It was fun spending time with mommy though.

For dinner, I went to Wasabi with my mom, dad, Rob, Joanie, Dave and my aunt and uncle for AYCE. It was quite different from the other Wasabi, but service was just as horrible. haha. But what was good about this one was that the cooked food and desserts were buffet style where you go up and get it yourself, so that basically preoccupied us as we waited for the sushi to come. It was good though. They had a chocolate fountain, in which someone dropped a marshmallow and turned the thick flowing dark brown chocolate into struggling light brown chocolate with white specks. Quite an amusing site. haha. It was still yummy nonetheless. I don't even remember when the last time I had AYCE sushi. More than 6 weeks AT LEAST haha.

After dinner, I went to Amy's house in attempts to make her leave her house for fun. Though the attempt failed, it was fun :) I miss you guys!! Thank you to Amy, Turo and Bonnie for the yummy ice cream cake that was practically impossible to cut through :P, and the card that was being written in as I walked in. haha.

Church service, more specifically SPLAT, with my mom. haha. It was funny seeing her try to restrain herself from telling all the kids to stop talking while the speaker spoke. haha.

After church, I met up with Rob, and went on an errand run for my mom to Walmart, I used my mom's brand new GPS system to get to Vaughan Mills where we shopped more, kinda. Didn't buy anything, but still fun. You know, if Vaughan Mills was a Sims game, it would lose because there would be no more business due to the lack of washrooms in the massive mall. You would see a bunch of Sims characters with clear crystals above their heads holding their groins with yellow liquid pooling underneath them because they have to pee and they don't have enough energy to go further to find a toilet to go in. haha.

I drove Rob home after and went to pick up my mom from church and then went home to eat and to pack to go back to London at 715 with Rachel.

And so boys and girls, this was my weekend. :) Haven't posted this much in so long. haha.

well midterms are OVER. kinda. Japanese midterm is on Nov. 23rd, but I don't count that. haha. I feel so relieved so HAPPY! :) especially because someone spesho came to visit me :) keke. It's not over yet though. I have graphs for 290 due and a Japanese quiz tomorrow and I've done/studied neither of them. On top of that, my parents are coming up to visit tonight because it's my mom's birthday, which means even LESS time to study, or just a lot less sleep. But for some odd reason, I just don't seem to care at all. haha. I feel like a huge weight has already been lifted off my chest and that I should PLAY PLAY PLAY !... but I guess I can't... darn it haha.
